Another brilliant week of action with some standout performances across the league! πŸ”₯

The headline clash saw defending champions NICS Bowling Club take on last year’s runners-up Larne Bowling and Lawn Tennis Club. It was NICS who continued their strong start, securing a 58–35 (5-point) win. Credit to Larne, with Lisa McDonagh edging a one-shot victory on her rink to earn a valuable point for the visitors.

Ewarts bowling club are the only other side to maintain a 100% record, making a huge statement with a dominant 6-point win over Mossley Outdoor Bowling Club, a result that sends them to the top of the table.

Falls Bowling Club bounced back in style with a 6-point victory over Ulster Transport Bowling Club, leaving both teams level on points after two weeks.

Meanwhile, CI Knock Bowling Club also got on the board with an impressive 6-point win against Pickie.

Junior 1 League

Another exciting week in Division 1 with some big results and shifts in momentum across the table πŸ’₯

CI Knock Bowling Club remain top of the league despite a narrow defeat to Downpatrick Bowling Club. With one rink each, it was Downpatrick Bowling Club who edged the overall shots 32–29 to secure a valuable 4-point win.

Ulster Transport Bowling Club produced a strong performance to secure a 45–27 win over Ballywalter Bowling and Rec Club, picking up valuable points to stay firmly in the title race.

Belfast impressed on the road with a 37–23 win against Larne Bowling and Lawn Tennis Club J1, continuing their push near the top of the standings.

Defending champions Comber Bowling Club are beginning to find their stride after an opening day setback. In a tight contest with Hilden Bowling Club, they shared the rinks but edged the overall shots 38–31.

Magheradroll also impressed with a solid 34–22 victory over Falls Bowling Club J1, keeping themselves well in contention.

Junior 2 League

Another exciting week in Division 2 as the table continues to take shape and the promotion race heats up. πŸ”₯

Malone made it three wins from three with a solid 36–29 victory over Ulster Transport Bowling Club J2, maintaining their position at the top of the table and continuing their unbeaten start.

Shaftesbury Bowls Club Belfast were pushed all the way by Belmont, edging a nail-biting contest 35–33. The result moves Shaftesbury up into 2nd place as they continue to stake their claim for promotion, while Belmont Bowling Club Official can take plenty of positives from a much-improved performance..

Saintfield Bowling Club produced an impressive performance to defeat Pickie J1 41–27, bouncing back strongly and keeping themselves firmly in the mix near the top.

The match between Cavehill and Falls Bowling Club J2 has been postponed and will be played at a later date.
